Free at last, free at last, Goddess almighty we’re free at last! It’s SPRING! I can actually see GRASS! I feel like the color green has been missing for years. Yeah, yeah, winter has its place, it, too, is sacred–you know what, whatever. Today I just can’t bring myself to care. I’ve always been a solar creature (just ask my husband–when we lived in a basement apartment for a year, I’d have to go sit outside in the morning sun for an hour to de-zombify myself). The day of balance has come, and now we’re tipping toward the longest days.
Thank. The. Gods.
This isn’t going to be an amazingly insightful post. Sometimes it’s just enough to enjoy things as they are. Perhaps that’s amazingly insightful in itself, but that’s where I’m leaving it.
A most blessed and joyous Spring Equinox to one and all!
For our coven as well it was blessed and joyous–as we celebrated the First Degree initiation of our newest Sister. It was beautifully done, full of mirth and reverence. (Her cake simply said “Yay!” on it). It is a time of new beginnings…now let’s get planting…
